Health & safety guidelines
Before your appointment
At BZ Salon, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our clients. Here are some important health and safety guidelines to follow before and after your waxing appointment:
Dos:
Do inform your esthetician about any health conditions, allergies, or medications you are taking before your waxing appointment.
Do take a shower before your appointment to ensure good hygiene.
Do wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area to be waxed.
Do exfoliate the area to be waxed gently with a loofah or scrub to help prevent ingrown hairs.
Do use sunscreen to protect your skin after waxing.
Don'ts:
Don't shave the area to be waxed before your appointment as it can make the waxing process more painful.
Don't apply any creams, lotions, or oils to the area to be waxed before your appointment.
Don't wax if you have any open wounds, rashes, or sunburn in the area to be waxed.
Don't wax if you are currently using Retin-A, Accutane, or any other Vitamin A-based medication as it can make your skin more sensitive and prone to irritation or injury.
At BZ Salon, we take extra precautions to ensure the safety of our clients during the waxing process. We use disposable materials such as gloves and spatulas and follow strict sanitation protocols to prevent the spread of germs and infections.
If you have any questions or concerns about your waxing appointment or our health and safety practices, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are always happy to help you achieve the best waxing experience possible!
